Do you have to manage

your local file system

from a web page?

Do you have to Read, Write or Delete

a local file

from a web page?

Launch a local

executable file (.exe, .bat)

from a web page?

Your web application powered

by W2L give you real-time access

to your client local system.

How it works

You need only 3 step:

1) First, launch W2L setup(.exe) on your client system.
2) Include W2L javascript library (.js) in your web application.
3) Now you can call W2L functions that give you full control of system client.

For example, writing a file in Local file System become easy:

        <!DOCTYPE html>
        <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
            <head>
                <script src="scripts/jquery-1.4.1.js"></script>
                <script src="scripts/factorybit.js"></script>

                <title>Factorybit Samples</title>
            </head>

            <body>
                <h2>Write a File</h2>
                <script type="text/javascript">

                    jfb(this).initRows();
                    jfb(this).addRow("first row to write");
                    jfb(this).addRow("second row to write");
                    jfb(this).write("C:\\path\\to\\everywhere\\newfile.txt",
                                    function (isOK, Result) {
                                        alert(isOK); alert(Result);
                                    });

                </script>
            </body>
        </html>

Security Considerations

The library provides a mechanism that protects the local file system from undesired side effects.
This mechanism ensure that no operation on local file system is made available through this API without the user's express permission.
Once the user trusts a specific domain, all input/output operation from this site will be executed without further confirmation
